Students will work one on one with a History, Philosophy, Sociology of Science faculty member to develop a personal core curriculum consisting of 24 credits in HPS courses, in addition to the 8 upper level HPS credits and 4 Senior Seminar credits required be the Lyman Briggs core program. Courses from outside Lyman Briggs College may be selected if such courses illuminate science and technology issues, or are prerequisite to understand a History, Philosophy, Sociology of Science problem, and are pertinent to the career goals of the student. (Please note carefully that only 300-400-level courses count towards the total of twenty-four credits. Several Courses suggested below have 100-and /0r 200-level prerequisites). |
