Lyman Briggs College (LBC) invites prospective students and their families to attend one of our small-group informational sessions. These sessions include a presentation from one of our LBC academic advisors discussing the residential experience, academic programs, and admissions process. After the presentation, current LBC undergraduate students offer guided tours of the academic facilities in Holmes Hall. Tours of the residential living space, including a dorm room, are provided by Residence Education and Housing Services (REHS). A prospective student visit day runs approximately 60-90 minutes.

Please note that limited seating is available in each of our small-group sessions. If no dates appear on the following screen, we have reached capacity for our scheduled sessions. We will update this website as cancellations occur, so please check back if no dates are available at this time.

Future Spartans 2018

As you begin your college search process and evaluate your options for continuing your education beyond high school, we want to personally invite you and your family to attend Future Spartans, a special program for prospective students and parents hosted by Michigan State University.

This program will provide an opportunity for interested students to hear presentations and meet representatives from the Office of Admissions, as well as MSU’s three residential colleges James Madison College, Lyman Briggs College, and the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities. The residential colleges at MSU offer the best of both worlds: the finest qualities of small liberal arts colleges, combined with the energy and resources of a research university.

We are excited about helping you discover what it means to be a part of the Spartan Family and hope you take advantage of this occasion to learn more about the opportunities available to you at Michigan State.

For your convenience, this program will be hosted on several dates and locations near you. See event dates below.
